The high-resolution map files, such as the examples shown below created for Dallas, are an optional service for communities that have opted for the Region and Count Team Management feature. While the Counting Us app will show volunteers a map which highlights their designated coverage area(s), some communities have found it helpful to also provide a higher resolution printed map.

Once the Regions and Count Teams have been established, the designated Count Administrator simply submits a helpdesk ticket to request that the map files be produced. Our team will create these map files and close the ticket with a zip file containing the maps so that they can be printed out locally.

These map files contain both the designated coverage areas per count team as well as details of any Known Location Surveys that have been submitted. If desired, locations from prior counts can also be overlayed on the map.
